After a month of suspending the enrollment throughout the Job Corps Program, the suspension was lifted. Gary Job Corps is actively recruiting, and students sent home at the onset of the phase down are being called back to complete their training programs. The Gary Job Corps Center trains in the following business headings, Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, Finance and Business, Health Care, Homeland Security and Transportation, and the center also provides a high school diploma or equivalent, driver’s license training and provides opportunities for workbased learning experiences.
