FUNDRAISING

A benefit show for flood relief

Jack’s Roadhouse was jamming for a good cause Saturday. Cookie Lone Star, Mitch Meitler and Ricky Fullen organized High Ground: A Benefit Show for Flood Relief, which featured 15 bands to raise funds for the Center Point Volunteer Fire Department, which played a pivotal role in the Kerrville flood rescue efforts. 100% of door pro- ceeds ($10) and official tshirt sales ($25) were donated. If one missed the event but would like to provide support, that can be given by purchasing a shirt. Contact @cookielonestar on Instagram to do so.
