Gameday Men’s Health serves more than 450 patients in first year

A year ago, Gameday Men’s Health opened its San Marcos location with a mission to redefine how men approach their health. Fast forward twelve months, and the clinic has served more than 450 patients, become a trusted name in the community and carved out a reputation as one of Central Texas’ fastest- growing health destinations for men.

Nestled off Wonder World Drive, Gameday set out to create more than just another clinic; it built an environment where men could finally feel comfortable addressing issues like fatigue, weight gain and hormone imbalances.

“Most guys don’t talk about low testosterone or sexual performance until it’s already impacting their relationships or their jobs,” said Ismael Rodriguez, San Marcos clinic general manager. “We wanted to create a space where men are not only heard but treated like high performers again.”

Over the past year, the clinic has focused on medically-supervised testosterone optimization therapy, advanced peptide treatments for recovery and muscle growth, customized weight-loss programs using FDA-approved medications like GLP-1s, as well as sexual wellness services including GainsWave and PShot. While other wellness centers chase trends and flashy branding, Gameday sticks to evidence- based protocols, personalized lab monitoring and licensed clinical oversight. According to internal patient tracking, 94% of patients report significant symptom improvements within the first 90 days of testosterone therapy alone. And for some, the transformation is even more personal.

“I feel like I got 10 years of my life back,” said Brian, a 53-year-old patient who began treatment after months of struggling with low energy and disrupted sleep. “More energy, better sleep, my mood’s solid and my wife noticed before I did.”

Another patient, Jacob, a 37-year-old, credits Gameday with helping him manage his weight, balance his hormones and meet the demands of a high-stress career.

“The struggle was real, but since I came to Gameday the improvements were night and day,” he said. “These guys understand what men actually need.”

It’s not just patient outcomes that have put Gameday on the map. The clinic has also made a name for itself in the community by going beyond the walls of the practice. Earlier this year, Gameday San Marcos partnered with the International Association of Fire Fighters, providing IAFF members with priority access to care, ongoing education, free B12 injections and discounted hormone therapy.

“We don’t just say we support first responders, we show up for them,” Rodriguez said. “Partnering with IAFF was a no-brainer.”

That hands-on commitment has extended further. Over 500 complimentary vitamin injections have been administered to San Marcos fire, EMS and police personnel.

Financially, the clinic has contributed over $30,000 in discounted care to military families and veterans in the last 12 months, a move Rodriguez said is just as important as any medical success story.

“This is about giving back, not just growing fast,” he said. “The stronger our community, the better our outcomes.”

Looking ahead, Gameday plans to introduce group-based weight loss programs, expand its peptide offerings and strengthen partnerships with local organizations. Rodriguez hinted at future location growth but emphasized that San Marcos remains the flagship for now.

“We don’t rush people. We listen, we test, and we treat based on real data,” he said. “After one year, we know one thing for sure: when men feel better, everything around them gets better.”

Appointments remain open, and new patients can still take advantage of the clinic’s complimentary consultations. As Gameday enters its second year, one thing is clear: this isn’t just a men’s clinic. It’s becoming a cornerstone of San Marcos health and wellness one result at a time.
