The Middle Ages have arrived, and the pizza is classically delicious. Round Table Pizza celebrated their grand opening with an event fit for kings and queens. Guests lined up hours before open since the first 100 in line received free pizza for a year. Guests throughout the day still had a chance to win free pizza for a year, amongst other prizes, by spinning the wheel before entering the new pizza shop located o. the I-35 North Frontage Road. A DJ played some royal rhythms as a knight, sword and all, pumped up the crowd. Once inside the restaurant, guests enjoyed a fresh layout that melded medieval with modernity. Round Table Pizza originated in California in 1959 and, with the help of Brame Brands, has franchised to over 410 locations, according to their website. San Marcos marks the sixth Round Table Pizza location in Texas with plans to expand more around the lone-star state.
“The food is great. But we are a hospitality focused company, so, for us, hospitality is very important,” Brame Brands CEO Michael Bravo said.
Not only do they focus on the best customer experience, but they care about their employees as well.
“We are building that culture, so everybody can feel they are working as a family,” Bravo said. “We invite all the people here in San Marcos to come check us out and get a pizza.”
