Unlock MLS launches Flex Listings

Today Unlock MLS launched Flex Listings, a new listing category that gives sellers more control over how and when their home is marketed. Flex Listings begin with limited data and can be withheld from public websites at the seller’s discretion, while remaining fully visible to MLS subscribers. This lowexposure entry point offers a professional runway to a full-market launch, meeting a rising demand for flexible, seller-driven marketing options that uphold cooperation and transparency.

This new approach allows properties to be entered into Unlock MLS with limited details and held back from public websites at the seller’s discretion. This gives agents the opportunity to market the listing within their professional network while sellers prepare for a broader launch. Flex Listings are ideal while a home is being staged, priced or finalized, offering tailored visibility without triggering Days on Market within the MLS. When the seller is ready, the listing can easily convert to Active status within Unlock MLS and gain full market exposure.
