TREASURE HUNTING & MOON DANCING
If you’re like me and enjoy how sleepy San Marcos gets in the Summer I must warn you that this will be the last weekend to enjoy it before TXST Freshman move in next weekend. I love the energy that new students bring but not the traffic. If you’re a collector or just love to find cool things at great deals check out The Price Center this Saturday for their monthly flea market, 1863 Flea. From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. explore pop up vendors, the 1893 shop and check out the BIG SMAL show in the galleries, showcasing amazing work from members of the San Marcos Art League.
After a day of shopping let loose at Private Park at the Full Moon Rave hosted by Symbiotic Spaces. The event is free but there is a $10 recommended donation that will be donated to Hill Country flood relief efforts. The event is 18 and older and is described as “a ritual dance of liberation and renewal at the crossroads of Earth and Sky.” Dance all night long as the event is from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.
