I’ll be out of town this weekend for my niece and nephew’s birthday party, so it is your duty, dear readers, to go to these awesome events and have fun for me!
Book lovers run to Green Heron Bookshop this Saturday from 12 to 3 p.m. for a book signing and meet and greet with local author Jeffrey Utzinger for his new novel “The Risk Involved.” The book is a collection of related creative nonfiction essays that when read together constitute a memoir of sorts. The author resides in Lockhart, explore more at his website at jeffreyutzinger. com Movie lovers run to Wake the Dead Coffee House this Sunday for Cursed Movie Nights. This month they are showing “Eagle vs Shark,” which is a New Zealand romantic comedy film celebrating love of two quirky oddballs. Showtime is at 7 p.m. The event is free, but seating is limited so come early, grab a drink and enjoy a movie night with friends!
