Texas State University students are coming back to campus, and with the increased student body population comes more traffic. The city of San Marcos took to Facebook to warn residents that students will be moving to campus August 16 to 18, and they will need to plan accordingly.
Expect heavier traffic around:
•Aquarena Springs Drive
•Thorpe Lane
•Hopkins Street (heading to Bobcat Stadium for check-in)
“If you’re driving through these areas, plan for extra time and drive with patience as thousands of Bobcats move into their new home,” the city of San Marcos stated. “Let’s give our Bobcats a warm San Marcos welcome.”
