Tony Arredondo, Hair by Capelli, and Heirloom Church hosted the event that gave local students their back-to-school haircuts, from 60 stylists, and make-overs by students from Johnson and Lehman High Schools. Over 20 companies donated food, school supplies and their time. Lunch was provided: hamburgers, hotdogs, pulled pork sandwiches, pizza, fajitas and kettle corn. Hundreds of families enjoyed the food, fellowship, music and school supplies for the upcoming school year. Gary Job Corps students assisted with the setup and cleanup following the event; GJC students have always been the helping hands with local events.
