Texas State officially announced the full release of the 2025-2026 season as the Bobcats prepare for the final year in the Sun Belt Conference.
The Bobcats will open up the season at home as part of the MAC-SBC Challenge, when Texas State hosts the Ohio Bobcats in just the secondever meeting between the two teams.
Texas State will then travel to Lubbock for their first game against a Power Four conference member when the Bobcats battle the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
The Bobcats will make the trip to San Antonio Thursday Nov. 13 in a showdown with archrival UTSA in the 73rd alltime meeting between the I-35 rivals.
Texas State returns home the following Monday to battle the UTRGV Vaqueros before going back on the road to take on Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
The Bobcats will be back home Tuesday Nov. 25 against Tarleton State before playing Prairie View A&M on Sunday in another home game.
Texas State goes back on the road the following Saturday to take on former conference rival Stephen F. Austin in the 70th meeting between the Bobcats and the Lumberjacks.
The Bobcats will start a four-game home stand to close out the month of December, first hosting UNT-Dallas.
The next week, Texas State will open conference play for the final time in the Sun Belt, hosting Louisiana on Wednesday before hosting Louisiana Monroe on Saturday.
The Bobcats will play their final game in 2025 Dec. 29 against Huston Tillotson.
Texas State will start a three-game road stand to start the 2026 year, beginning with a road game against James Madison before making the trip to Troy.
The Bobcats end their road swing with the return game against Louisiana Saturday Jan. 10.
Texas State will enter another four-game home stand starting with the annual Kids Game against Southern Miss Wednesday Jan 14.
The Bobcats will then host Troy Jan 17 before taking on App State the following Wednesday. Texas State closes out the home stand against Old Dominion Saturday Jan. 24.
Texas State will make a short two-game road trip after the ODU game, starting with Wednesday night’s showdown against Coastal Carolina before battling Georgia State.
Texas State returns home Wednesday against Georgia Southern and will go on the road for the second part of the MACSBC challenge with an opponent to be determined at a later date.
The Bobcats will continue their road stretch Thursday Feb. 12 against South Alabama before taking on Southern Miss the following Saturday.
Texas State will play their final two home games of the season Wednesday Feb. 18 against Arkansas then Saturday Feb. 21 against South Alabama.
The Bobcats will end the regular season on the road against ULM the following Wednesday before playing their final Sun Belt Conference game against Arkansas State.
