TEXAS STATE FOOTBALL
North street was rocking with TXST fans on Friday, blocked off in front of Zelicks and the North Street bar to host hundreds of TXST football fans as well as local vendors. The event also featured live music, food and drink specials, games, giveaways and performances by the Bobcat Marching Band, Texas State cheerleaders, the Strutters and Boko.

Fans had a chance to meet Texas State University President Kelly Damphousse, Football Head Coach G.J. Kinne and as several members of the Bobcat football team.
Bobcats appearing at the event included freshman linebacker Blaine Carver and running back Lincoln Pare, who had a terrific game in the teams big win over Eastern Michigan, gaining 167 years and scoring a touchdown. Catch the Bobcats rivalry game with UTSA at the Alamodome on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
