San Marcos-based Sign Crafters has rebranded to Highpoint Signs, retaining the same staff, contracts and commitment to customer relationships. This merger will combine the respected craftsmanship of Sign Crafters with the modern technology of College Stationbased Highpoint Signs to offer San Marcos customers expanded resources, shared expertise and in-house production support.
Founded in 1987, Sign Crafters made its name by delivering consistent, highquality signage with a personal touch — serving local businesses, national franchises and even international clients.
Notable Sign Crafters clients include Texas State University, Crunch Fitness, Audio Nova, McCoy’s Building Supply, Saks Fifth Avenue and many others. What set Sign Crafters apart was its combination of traditional sign-making techniques with innovative designs.
Although it has been part of Highpoint Signs since 2023, Sign Crafters officially changed its name in August 2025. The San Marcos team — made up of the same familiar faces — will continue delivering top-tier custom signage, now with the backing of an organization built to grow alongside brands.
Highpoint was originally Sign Pro, founded in 1995, serving Central Texas for more than two decades before rebranding to Highpoint Signs & Apparel in 2021. Sign Pro helped establish the foundation of the Highpoint brand — bringing craftsmanship and a service-driven mindset to every project.
The merger of Sign Crafters and Highpoint Signs will provide wider design resources and greater support with no interruption in service, according to a Highpoint Signs press release.
