Retired dance professor Cindy Gratz, Ph.D., brings her expertise and energy back to the Price Center for three lively dance classes each week in the fall session. Classes are free and open to all skill levels. Price Center membership is required for regular attendees.
Gratz leads a weekly Jazz Dance class every Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. that features easy dance moves, jazz music and conversation on dance.
A second hour-long class follows on Wednesday for individuals who want to perform in the Christmas Show. The group visits local retirement homes and performs at the Price Center during the holiday season.
Gratz is joined by local dancer and Price Center regular Barbara Piersol for Clogging Class each Friday from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. beginning Friday Sept. 12 In addition, instructor Kathi Goodfellow offers a weekly Beginning Ballet for Adults session every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. that is paced for adult beginners and those returning to dance after some time.
Registration is not required for any of the classes. Walk-ins are welcome.
