Wimberley Glassworks is hosting their annual Gourdgeous Glass Pumpkin Patch on Sept. 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Discover hundreds of handcrafted glass pumpkins, each one individually made by artists. Experience spooky-themed live glassblowing and watch as molten glass comes to life in a series of Halloween-inspired demos throughout the day, where glassblowers will craft giant pumpkins, ghosts, witch hats and their specialty: glass jack-o’-lanterns.
Take part in an all-ages interactive pumpkin themed scavenger hunt that winds through our studio and gallery. There will be a kids coloring station, a pumpkin toss and exciting giveaways along with other seasonal activities for all ages. Enjoy sweet treats and beverages while you browse the gallery and watch the artistry unfold. Live glassblowing demonstrations will take place at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. and 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30 p.m.
