Calling all painters, musicians, filmmakers and artists from all works of life; Create Create, also known as 2Create, is a new artist collective founded on the belief that the act of creating should be as accessible and celebrated as the finished product. Create Create believes in valuing the hard work, imagination, and beauty that goes into the process of making art. Breaking into the artistic world can be challenging and life doesn’t always make it easy to create. Create Create is structured to support artists first. All profits are reinvested directly into artists and their work, allowing creatives of all kinds to pursue their projects with more freedom.
Founder Kate Patterson graduated from San Francisco State University in 2022 and has been working in the independent film and marketing scene in central Texas ever since. She has directed and produced half a dozen short films and has been on nearly 70 sets in her career, including three feature films. Through her experience Kate, has discovered the big dreams that come with being a professional artist and the struggles and frustrations that come with it. That is why she has founded Create Create, to support artists by allowing them to create for the sake of the art itself. Create Create focuses on community, collaboration and artistic growth.
