PADDLING ACROSS SPRING LAKE

Aquarena Springs and Spring Lake are often referred to as, “The Heart of San Marcos,” being the headwaters of the beloved San Marcos River that cuts through the city.

While the glass-bottom boat tours give you an idea of how critical Spring Lake is to the river, a way to connect to Spring Lake on a personal level is to go on a Stand-Up Paddle tour.

Scheduled for this Saturday, the SUP tours allow people to learn about the history of Spring Lake and Aquarena Springs in a unique experience that allows them to gain a deeper connection and understanding of the San Marcos River.
