SCHERTZ, Texas Buck Steyn threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran for another as the San Marcos Rattlers defeated the Schertz Clemens Buffaloes, 30-13 Friday night in District 29-6A football action at Lehnhoff Stadium.
“You’re never going to win or lose these games the same way,” Head Coach John Walsh said. “There’s so many factors that take place in it. That’s what I told them, on the road, we stacked some wins, and that’s how you gain momentum to get to the playoffs.”
Steyn completed 18 of 26 passes for 221 yards without an interception, with both touchdowns going to Elliott Gray. Steyn added a 10-yard touchdown run midway through the second quarter to give the Rattlers a 13-0 lead.
