San Marcos High School begins a fun and festive week of exciting Homecoming 2025 events with a parade in downtown San Marcos on Saturday at 10 a.m. The route will begin on North LBJ Drive, travel past East Hopkins to East Hutchinson Street and will conclude on South Edward Gary Street.
The Homecoming football game is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 24 , with a 7:30 p.m. kick-off at Toyota Rattler Stadium as the Rattlers take on the Knights of Cibolo Steele.
The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce is encouraging local businesses to show their school spirt with the second annual Rally for the Rattlers spirit campaign next week. Paint the town purple!
There are 4 categories in the Rally for the Rattlers decorating contest: Best Exterior, Best Interior, Best Window Signage and First Timer’s Award. Winners receive H-E-B gift cards, tickets to the Homecoming Game with on-field recognition, Rattler swag and awesome bragging rights!
Deadline to enter Chamber’s Rally for the Rattlers decorating contest is Oct. 20, Judging and Winners will be announced on Oct. 23.
