Patrick Dwayne Brooks passed away on Monday, June 25, 2019. He was born at Hahn AFB, Germany to M/Sgt Blanton N. Brooks and Bennie Irene Richardson Brooks, both of whom preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Bonnie Susan Brooks, of Beaumont, Texas and his brother and sister-in-law, Don and Joan Brooks of San Antonio, Texas.
He also leaves behind his nephew, Jeff Brooks, his wife, Ronda Brooks, of Roanoke, Texas and a niece, Jennifer O’Banon, and her husband, Tim O’Banon, of Schertz, Texas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and Mrs. Lisa Mancuso-Brooks, the wife of his late Uncle Todd Brooks.
Patrick grew up in San Marcos. He attended St. John’s Catholic School and graduated from San Marcos High School in 1978. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a degree in Psychology in 1992.
