The San Marcos River Rollers is a 501c3 skater-owned and operated, flat-track roller derby league based out of San Marcos. Founded in 2017 by a small group of womxn in San Marcos and the surrounding areas and continues to grow. Through the sport of roller derby, the mission of SMRR is to develop and amplify the athleticism, inclusion and collaboration of the womxn within our community. SMRR aims to empower and inspire by demonstrating physical and mental strength both on and off the track, by providing positive athletic role models. SMRR supports the community at large through contributions and volunteering with other 501c3 organizations and community programs.
