The San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that its 122nd Annual Dinner & Awards Gala, presented by LCRA, will be held Thursday, Nov. 13, at the San Marcos Conference Center.
The chamber’s signature annual event brings together business and community leaders for an evening of celebration, connection and recognition. This year’s theme, “Passing the Torch, Lighting the Way,” honors the legacy of leadership that has shaped San Marcos while celebrating the chamber’s continued commitment to growth and innovation.
The evening, which starts at 6 p.m., will include a cocktail reception, dinner, live music and the presentation of the chamber’s annual business awards. Honorees will be recognized in the following categories: - Citizen of the Year - Business of the Year - Green Business of the Year - Emerging Business of the Year - Nonprofit of the Year - Education Partner of the Year - Ambassador of the Year The event will also feature the traditional Passing of the Gavel ceremony, marking the transition of Chamber board leadership from Cassidy Berenato of Texas Aviation Partners, outgoing chair, to Brooke Damron of The Damron Group Realtors, incoming chair.
