FREE TREES & NATIVE PLANT SALE
Make it a native November with the city’s Community Tree Giveaway! This Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. residents zoned within the San Marcos city limits can pull up to City Park for two free trees per household. Trees are first come first served, with native and adaptive species available in 3-5 gallon containers. Even though there are 600 trees to give away the popular species go fast, so get there early. Parking will be free for the event while volunteers help you find what trees are best for your home’s region. A full list of available species is available at sanmarcostx. gov/trees.
Continue the plant fun by visiting the Full Nursery November Plant Sale hosted by Ecosystem Regeneration Artisans, located at 946 Boulder Bluff, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Shoppers can sign up for a required shopping appointment at eranativeland. com. With over 250 native plant species and organic herbs and veggies you’re sure to find just what your garden needs.
