Got a set of wheels? A bicycle, skateboard, roller skates or blades should do as the annual Hell Ride is happening Saturday. This will be the first year that the San Marcos Pedal Department is working with the city of San Marcos to put on the event, so it’s happening a bit earlier. It starts at Ramon Lucio Park at 5:30 p.m. with wheels to the pavement by 6 p.m. The ride ends promptly at 10 p.m. this year.
And for Sunday, if you’re in need of vaccinations, microchipping or flea and tick preventative for your pets, you can get them at a low cost at Autozone, located at 921 Hwy 80, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
