At approximately 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, Kyle Police responded to reports of an auto-pedestrian collision in the 3300 block of Dacy Lane.
A crossing guard was on duty at the time with a stop sign displayed. A 15-year-old was struck while escorting their younger sibling across the street. The children were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The Daily Record reached out to the Kyle Police Department for an update.
"Not at this time. The investigation is ongoing," Public Information & Community Engagement Specialist for Kyle Police Department Ashlee Bradshaw said.
The Kyle Police Department urges drivers to stay alert, obey speed limits, and follow all traffic laws to help keep pedestrians safe.
