Ranch Hand manufacturing facility breaks ground in Seguin

Lippert Components has announced that its Ranch Hand division has broken ground on a new 400,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Seguin. Located conveniently off I-10, the stateof- the-art facility will consolidate its two existing manufacturing plants located in Shiner and Beeville.

The project reflects Ranch Hand’s continued investment in Texas manufacturing and its dedication to creating stable, long-term opportunities for employees and the communities it serves.

The new Seguin facility will approximately double the current manufacturing capacity of Ranch Hand’s industry-leading grill guards and bumpers. Popularity of Ranch Hand products has increased in the last five years due to the brand being prominently featured on popular television shows like “Yellowstone” and “Land Man.”

The new facility will not only increase production capacity but will feature a state-of-the-art E-Coat line with a zirconium pretreatment that will significantly increase corrosion resistance.

Shane McNalie, Senior Vice President of Sales for Lippert’s Automotive Division, commented, “This is a long-anticipated expansion for Ranch Hand allowing us to drastically increase service levels to our valued customers and significantly improve lead times.

“The improvements to our finishing process are also an exciting enhancement which will expand Ranch Hand further into the Northern regions with unrivaled corrosion protection,” McNalie said.

Groundbreaking for the new facility started in September of this year, with a targeted move-in date in the second quarter of 2026. Ranch Hand leadership is working with their current team members in their Shiner and Beeville locations to ensure a smooth transition into the new facility.

Lippert, a leading supplier of engineered components to the recreation and transportation markets, and Ranch Hand remain committed to supporting their team members in Shiner and Beeville throughout this transition. The company has emphasized its goal of retaining as many employees as possible by offering relocation opportunities, training programs and other resources to assist team members interested in continuing with Ranch Hand in Seguin.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Ranch Hand and Lippert’s latest expansion to Seguin,” said Seguin Mayor Donna Dodgen. “This project represents another significant investment in our community’s growing manufacturing base and demonstrates the confidence companies have in Seguin as a place to do business. We’re proud to see this partnership come to fruition and look forward to the jobs, opportunities and innovation this new facility will bring.”

“Guadalupe County continues to be a strong destination for manufacturing investment, and the Ranch Hand expansion further strengthens that position,” said Guadalupe County Judge Kyle Kutscher. “We appreciate Lippert’s decision to grow in our region and the collaboration between the City, County and the Seguin Economic Development Corporation to make this project possible. This is a great win for our workforce and for the future of Guadalupe County’s economy.”

Ranch Hand, founded in Texas in 1986, is an industry leader in truck accessories and front and rear end truck protection.
