Calaboose Museum supports neighbors after SNAP cuts

In light of the recent loss of SNAP benefits for many in the community, the Calaboose African American History Museum is stepping up to gather donations for the Hays County Food Bank.

One can donate nonperishable food items and cash to the museum during business hours for the foreseeable future. The museum is open from Wednesday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
