HAYS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
The Hays County Sheriff ’s Office has arrested Franklin Jovel Tabora-Dias, 24, of Kyle, on charges of Sexual Assault and Trafficking of a Child.
Tabora-Dias is also a suspect in multiple ongoing sexual offense investigations. Additional charges are anticipated, according to a press officer with the Sheriff’s Office, which is seeking public assistance from anyone who has information relevant to the case.
A year-long investigation found that Tabora-Dias had used social media to meet high school girls whom he sexually assaulted at his residence in unincorporated Kyle, according to the HCSO.
Child Crimes investigators with the Hays County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division arrested Tabora-Dias in October. He faces the following charges: Sexual Assault, a seconddegree felony, and two counts of Trafficking of Child, a first-degree felony. Tabora-Dias remains in custody at the Hays County Jail, on a total bond of $275,000.
Investigators determined that Tabora-Dias repeatedly misrepresented his age as being as young as 19 to his victims, to business associates, and to law enforce- ment during unrelated interactions.

Tabora-Dias is known to have driven a silver 2009 Honda Accord sedan with blue striping, and a 2010 silver Honda Civic with right front damage. He has distinct tattoos on his neck and both forearms.
According to the Sheriff ’s Office, he used the first name “Frank” as well as the alternative last name spelling “Diaz.” On Instagram, Tabora-Dias used the Instagram handle @atx_frank444. Several of his victims spoke only Spanish.
