Splash Coworking celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week

Splash Coworking will mark Global Entrepreneurship Week on Nov. 17-23 by hosting a number of opportunities to connect to entrepreneurs and leaders in the area.

These events will be among tens of thousands of activities taking place worldwide to open doors for anyone who has ever thought, “Could I build something of my own?” to explore the potential of entrepreneurship and how it can enhance the San Marcos region.

The theme for Global Entrepreneurship Week in 2025 is “ Together We Build” and shines a spotlight on the collective power of community, collaboration, and shared ambition. It invites anyone to explore what’s possible when they join mentors, peers, partners and supporters to bring ideas to life and build something bigger than themselves.

Join us at one or all of the following Official #GEW2025 Events: 1 Million Cups Greater SMTX Town Hall will take place at the San Marcos Activity Center, 501 E. Hopkins St., on Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Get inspired by the growth stories, community connections and insights from local elected officials and leaders of the entrepreneurial community in an informal, interactive setting.

Small Business Lunch & Learn: How to Access Capital will take place at Splash Coworking, 326 N. LBJ Drive, on Thursday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Hosted by Splash Coworking and the San Marcos Area Chamber of Commerce. Attend to learn about community resources for businesses - encompassing business planning, lending and grant opportunities. Lunch is included. RSVP at bit.ly/AccessCapitalSMTX.

Bobcat Bazaar Marketplace will take place at the LBJ Student Center, 301 Student Center Drive, on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Bobcat Bazaar Markets is a pop-up market of Bobcat student vendors featuring all studentmade products and services. Stop by for the perfect chance to meet and purchase from TXST vendors.

Carina Boston Pinales, GEW Community Organizer & Global Entrepreneurship Congress Deligate said, “This year, we are able to really highlight the entrepreneurial community of the Central Texas area that supports entrepreneurship at all stages and in different capacities.”

The Global Entrepreneurship Week movement celebrates and empowers entrepreneurs in every country and community around the world, especially those who face structural barriers or who may have never considered the opportunities and possibilities of entrepreneurship.

Each November, 10 million people participate in tens of thousands of activities, competitions, and events that inspire them to act and provide them with the knowledge, experience, and connections they need to succeed.
