THE STONES ARE SPEAKING
The First Tuesday Film Series is back for one of its final screenings of the year. Join fellow film lovers alike on Dec. 2 at The Price Center to watch ‘The Stones Are Speaking’, a documentary about archaeologist Mike Collins who risked it all to save 30 acres deep in the heart of Texas. What he found there changed history.
Showtime starts at 7 p.m. with complimentary refreshments from Pie Society and Middleton Brewing at 6:30 p.m. Be sure to stay after the credits for a post-film Q&A with director Olive Talley, National Geographic photographer Ken Garrett and Dr. David Kilby of the TXST Department of Anthropology.
This film won the audience award at the Austin Film Festival and is presented at First Tuesday in partnership with the TXST Center for Archaeological Studies.

More than a film about the Gault Archaeological Site, it shows how one person can make a difference and inspire others to act for the greater good.
