Nothing kicks off Christmas season like pictures with Santa. San Marcos has multiple opportunities this weekend to meet the big man himself. Sunday is Santa Day with three events featuring St. Nick. From 1 to 4 p.m. he will be onsite at Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply for their “Santa’s Workshop” event. Kids can create a Christmas ornament, color a holiday door hanger and decorate a placemat for Santa’s cookies. Pets are welcome to pose with Santa as well.
From 2 to 4 p.m. Santa will be at The Tap Room for their 5th annual “Santa Paws” event benefiting the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter. The event is free but donations to the animal shelter are encouraged. Pets are welcome.
Swing by Balanced Nutrition from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. for their Christmas Bazaar for free pictures with both Santa and Mrs. Claus. There will be vendors, crafts and games for kids. Admission is free.
