Twelve Texas State players earned all-conference honors as the Bobcats wrapped up their final season in the Sun Belt Conference.
Earning first team allconference honors is the duo of offensive lineman Dorian Strawn and wide receiver Beau Sparks.
Sparks led the conference in receiving with 80 catches for 1,113 yards and nine touchdowns. Sparks is just the second wide receiver in Texas State history to have over 1,000 yards receiving following Cameron Luke. Sparks is 155 yards away from setting the program for most receiving yards in a single season.
Sparks was also named second-team all-purpose.
Strawn helped anchor the Texas State offensive line for an offense rated 12th in the nation in rushing offense and 17th in scoring offense.
Earning second allconference honors was running back Lincoln Pare, linebacker Treylin Payne, kicker Tyler Robles and kick returner Jaylen Jenkins.
Pare rushed for 1,022 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Bobcats and is the 11th Bobcat in program history to rush for over 1,000 yards in a single season.
Payne led the Bobcats in tackles with 102 along with 6.5 tackles for loss. Payne had the fifth most tackles in the conference.
Robles was 19-21 from field goal range and 4849 on extra point attempts. Robles made three field goals from 50 yards out and more.
Jenkins led the conference in kick returns with 622 yards and one touchdown, including the longest kick return for the season at 100 yards.
Earning third team allconference was the duo of quarterback Brad Jackson and wide receiver Chris Dawn Jr.
Jackson passed for 3,050 yards and 18 touchdowns while rushing for 692 yards and 16 touchdowns. Jackson is just the fifth quarterback in program history to pass for over 3,000 yards in a single season.
Dawn caught 54 passes for 931 yards and two touchdowns for the Bobcats. Dawn is 69 yards away from joining Sparks and Luke as the only wide receivers in Bobcat history to have over 1,000 yards receiving in a single season.
Earning honorable mention was defensive end Kalil Alexander, tight end Titus Lyons, offensive lineman Emeka Obigbo and cornerback Jaden Rios.
