The Lady Rattlers came away with another road win last Tuesday, defeating the San Antonio Davenport Wolves 52-41 in non-district play.
San Marcos improves to 12-6 overall while the Wolves fall to 7-7.
The first quarter was an explosive offensive fireworks show with both teams scoring 17 points each.
In the second quarter, the Lady Rattler defense shut down Davenport, holding the Wolves to just four points.
San Marcos’ defensive effort in the second quarter was the difference maker as Davenport was unable to overcome the 30-21 deficit in the first half, leading to the Lady Rattlers win.
San Marcos returns home Friday night to battle Pflugerville. The Panthers enter the game with a 6-9 overall record, defeating Buda Johnson 38-36 Tuesday.
