The KZSM Radio show “Eclectic Mind Of An Earthman” hosts a holiday party today at 9 p.m. featuring local religious leaders. Guests will include Rabbi Ari Weingarten speaking about Hanukkah, pastor Derrick Benn speaking about Christmas, caroling from the Greater Bethel Baptist Church Choir and a guest speaking about Kwanzaa.
The live show is hosted by Earthman Lanny Smith and will be his last show as a resident of San Marcos, as he is moving to Nashville at the end of the month.
“This will be a special gathering of the community for my last show. San Marcos has been a great space to live, yet my songwriting is calling me back, and in Nashville, the slogan is 'It All Begins With A Song,’” said Smith.
Smiths “Eclectic Mind Of An Earthman” also broadcasts in Nashville. Smith is an award-winning songwriter whose songs have travelled on the space shuttle and been translated into seven languages.
The show can be heard at KZSM Radio 104.1 FM and at KZSM.org.
