It’s the last weekend before Christmas and all throughout San Marcos, citizens were stirring outside their house. Stockings were hung, waiting to be filled, with treasures awaiting made by those who are skilled. Artisans and vendors aplenty will share their gifts at the Yuletide Market this Sat. Dec twenty. From noon to 5 p.m. at Green Heron Bookshop the mic will be open for poetry and a chili cook off, sure to be red hot just like Rudolph.
Later that evening keep an ear out for the sound of laughter and singing abound. From 7 to 8:30 p.m. enjoy Cocoa and Carols, a Family Singalong and Fundraiser to Fight Hunger at the Price Center. Enjoy cookies and cocoa and galore while helping those in need next door. Donations will be accepted to help Southside Community Center, a place that has helped San Marcos neighbors for generations.
