Paselk taking over Place 2 council seat
Josh Paselk officially took his Place 2 council seat on Monday, Dec. 22. Paselk defeated incumbent Saul Gonzales in the runoff election on Dec. 13 after receiving 54.5% of the vote.
“Obviously I have one or two things that I have to learn, but I’m super excited to do it,” Paselk said. “These council people up here, without us really being able to work together, it’s really hard to get stuff done.
“So I just want to let you know, my promise to all of y’all here on council is to work with every single last one of you, whether it’s a tough conversation, I’m there for it, so [I’m] looking forward to doing this together.”
Paselk’s first meeting on council will be held Jan. 6.
