The San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter accepted a donation of $15,000 from Mutt Strutt San Marcos on Monday.
The shelter will spend $3,100 to replenish and replace office supplies that were thrown out after the Feline Panleukopenia outbreak, $5,000 will go to vet services for heartworm treatments as well as extra medical expenses incurred due to the Panleukopenia outbreak, and another $5,000 will be used to purchase cat condos. Any remaining funds will go towards addressing immediate needs.
Mutt Strutt is a key partner to the San Marcos Regional Animal Shelter, raising funds that directly support animal adoptions, medical treatments, shelter equipment and so much more. Contributions can be made year-round at Mutt Strutt's website.
