The Lady Rattlers jumped out to a 16-7 lead in the first quarter but Johnson was able to make their comeback in the second.
The Jaguars outscored the Lady Rattlers 14-4 in the second as San Marcos entered halftime down 21-20.
San Marcos regained the lead in the third quarter as the Lady Rattlers entered the fourth up 32-31.
The Lady Rattlers regained control of the game, dropping 20 points in the fourth quarter to seal the win at 52-44.
San Marcos returns home for the first time in over a month as the Lady Rattlers host the Schertz Clemens Buffaloes.
The Buffaloes enter the game with a 7-16 overall record and a 0-3 district record coming off a loss to archrival Cibolo Steele 47-38.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Snake Pit in San Marcos.
