Texas State fell to James Madison 87-52 as the Bobcats dropped their first conference game of the season.
The Bobcats fall to 6-7 overall and 2-1 in conference play.
Texas State fell behind 19-9 at the end of the first period and was unable to climb out of the deficit en route to the 87-52 loss.
Senior Amyria Walker led the team in scoring with 12 points followed by sophomore Saniya Burks with 10 points.
Sophomore Kyra Anderson led the team in rebounds with six.
Texas State continues their road swing this week with a Wednesday night showdown against Troy.
