San Marcos celebrates New Year’s Eve at Roughhouse Brewing

Explosions lit up the sky on New Year’s Eve as Roughhouse Brewing hosted its annual fireworks show, which was the only one in San Marcos. The place was packed with adults and kids alike awaiting the 6:30 p.m. event.

According to the website, Roughhouse Brewing was cofounded by Alex and Davy Pasternak and is located on their 50-acre family ranch. Roughhouse specializes in “tasty foeder-fermented ales, traditional lagers and cave-aged beers that complement the Texas backdrop.” This beer joint is familyfriendly and has a playground and plenty of room for running.
