It had been eight years since the Rattlers had played a home playoff game at Toyota Rattler Stadium but with San Marcos’ win over New Braunfels Canyon in the season finale, the drought was over. The Rattlers hosted the Eagle Pass Eagles in the Bi-District round of the playoffs as San Marcos looked for their first playoff win since 2017. It was complete domination by the Rattlers, who defeated Eagle Pass 42-10 in the biggest playoff win since the 1960s.
