San Marcos Police are searching for John Anthony “Chucky” Contreras, 17, of Kyle, according to a post on Facebook.
According to a spokesperson for SMPD, Contreras is wanted for Attempted Capital Murder of Multiple Persons following a fight that ended in a shooting around 1:25 a.m. on Nov. 2 at the 1600 block of Post Road. Officers found shell casings and a large amount of blood by the pool. A victim was treated and released at Christus Santa Rosa after being driven there by friends.
“A second suspect in this same incident, 17year-old D’antrae Houston was arrested on November 6 in Lockhart for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon,” the spokesperson said.
The U.S. Marshals Service is assisting in locating Contreras.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to his arrest. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
SMPD is requesting that anyone with information about his location call 911 or submit a tip to Crime Stoppers.
