WINTER WEATHER
As temperatures dropped, spirits soared around town this past weekend as kids and kids at heart enjoyed the time off to play outside. Although shelves at H-E-B were cleared, the streets were covered with ice. Many took this opportunity to stay home and bundle up while some soaked in what snow they could find amongst all the ice. SMCISD called for an inclement weather day Monday which let kids enjoy the final freeze. As temperatures warm up and the final ice melts, only memories will remain of a rare but fun Texas sort of snow day.
