The Lady Rattlers bounced back following a tough loss to Clemens with a 4-1 win over the San Antonio East Central Hornets.
San Marcos earns their first district win, improving their district record to 1-2 and their overall record to 3-9. East Central falls to 0-3 in district play and 1-13 overall.
The Lady Rattlers are back home Tuesday, facing off with the Converse Judson Rockets. The Rockets enter the district game with a 6-4-1 overall record and a 1-1 district record, coming off a 3-0 loss to Cibolo Steele last Friday.
Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at Toyota Rattler Stadium in San Marcos.
RATTLERS DROP FIRST DISTRICT GAME
San Marcos lost their first district game of the season, falling to the San Antonio East Central Hornets 3-2 in a thrilling contest.
The Rattlers’ overall record drops to 4-2-2 and their district record to 11-1. East Central improves to 1-2 in district and 6-4-2 overall.
