The Llano County Sheriff’s Office, Criminal Investigations Division, obtained multiple arrest warrants for Justice Malachi Johnson. Johnson was charged with Sexual Assault of a Child and Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact, both second degree felonies.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that Johnson was employed as a Juvenile Supervision Officer at the Hays County Juvenile Detention Center.
The Llano County Sheriff’s Office CID coordinated with the Hays County Sheriff’s Office and traveled to San Marcos, Texas where Johnson was safely taken into custody without incident and subsequently booked into the Hays County Jail.
“The protection of our children is paramount, and the Llano County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to thoroughly investigating allegations of crimes against children and holding offenders accountable,” according to a statement on the Llano County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page.
