Microprinting: Small Pieces with Big Impact When: Thursdays in Feb, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where: San Marcos Public Library What: Come explore printmaking! Techniques for printing without a traditional press—linocut, polystyrene, Tetra Pak and designing and making rubber stamps—will be explored. Final prints will be approximately 6-8 inches max. Every class opens with a few minutes of grounding and stretching to gently transition into the day’s creative segment. Next, students will warm up with sketching or “Garabatos”.
Sketches will be used as the starting point for designs that will be turned into prints. All materials provided. Funded by St.
