A judge has rescheduled the trial of one of two men charged with capital murder of multiple persons in a Tow double homicide, according to court records.
Authorities charged 19year-old Kyler Nathaniel Allen and 19-year-old Jordan Eric Ostrander in the deaths of a Tow father and son shot outside their home in January 2023.
Ostrander, a San Marcos resident who reportedly turned down a plea deal, was scheduled for trial on Feb. 9 in the 424th Judicial District Court in Llano. Confirmation of a planned March trial date was pending by press time Feb. 19.
The homicide investigation unfolded on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2023 in the 100 block of Airport in the Llano County rural community. Tow is located about 35 miles northwest of Marble Falls.
Preston Wessling, 38, and Evan Wessling, 14, a father and son discovered outside their home, were pronounced dead at the scene.
