The Rattlers tied the San Antonio East Central Hornets 3-3 in their district road game on Tuesday.
San Marcos improves to 5-5-4 overall and 2-33 in district play.
With just three games left in the regular season, the Rattlers will look to secure their spot for the postseason.
Following ties against Schertz Clemens and East Central, the Rattlers have earned nine points, good enough for fifth place. San Marcos currently trails New Braunfels Canyon for fourth place, with the Cougars earning 10 points. Buda Johnson sits in third place with 11 points.
San Marcos will look to snap their three-game winless streak on Friday against Converse Judson. The Rockets enter the game with a 7-8-2 overall record and a 2-5-1 district record. In their last meeting, the Rattlers defeated the Rockets 21.
Kickoff for San Marcos- Judson is set for 7 p.m. on Friday at Toyota Rattler Stadium in San Marcos.
