Another candidate for U.S. Senate came to town this week. Jasmine Crockett was in San Marcos on Wednesday, visiting Texas State University after the mother of Maren, a student at TXST, requested she stop by the campus. Pictured is Crocket with Maren during that meeting. Crockett is competing in the Democratic primary against Texas House Representative James Talarico and Ahmad Hassan for the seat currently held by Republican John Cornyn, who is running against Ken Paxton and six other candidates.
