The March luncheon is hosted by Corridor Title - San Marcos, and the menu will feature Palmer’s Shepherd’s Pie with a salad and a roll.

There will also be delicious homemade desserts.

Annual Veramendi Garden Day

Where: Veramendi Plaza Park Who: Heritage Association of San Marcos What: Riverwalk Committee and City of San Marcos beautify park by preserving, maintaining and planting.

Tomás Rivera Mexican American Children’s Book Award celebrates its 30th anniversary 

When: March 7 at 10 a.m.

Where: San Marcos Public Library What: The day starts off with a children’s parade from City Park, starting at 9:00 am. The fair at the Library will begin at 10:00 am and will include presentations by 13 award-winning authors and illustrators, performances by local school children, handson literacy and art activities for children and youth, and book giveaways. Fun for the whole family! All events are free and open to the public; some workshops will have limited capacity.
