March might be home to March Madness but here in San Marcos, baseball and softball reign supreme. With Texas State baseball hosting a four-game series against Washington State, Texas State softball hosting the San Marcos Showdown [not to be confused with Showdown in San Marcos] and San Marcos softball hosting their spring break tournament, there is a lot of action going on at the ballparks. But most importantly, both ballparks will showcase excellent baseball and softball talent. Be sure to check out Sunday’s baseball game, which includes Kids Day, where kids get to run around the bases and get autographs from the players.
